Today, Senator John Edwards will end his campaign for the
Presidency.
Former Senator John Edwards, D-N.C., will drop out of the Democratic presidential race on Wednesday.
"It just became clear it wasn't going to happen," a senior Edwards advisor tells ABC News' Rick Klein.
When I hear heard of the news of Edwards dropping out, my first thought was about
Senator Kennedy's concession speech in 1980 at the Democratic Convention in New York City.
For me, a few hours ago, this campaign came to an end. For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die.
I wish you and your family well, Senator.
