Oprah Winfrey is a sham. That woman has the nerve to go to S. Africa and make like she is doing good for the people there then she comes back to he states where 4 months later she has one of the most decadent 50th birthday parties EVER!! What kind of message is she trying to send? The message is "Its all about Oprah." She doesnt care about people in S. Africa, she cares about how helping them makes her look. What a fake person she is.

Show solidarity with the military families that want the troops brought home. Write to your senator or congressperson and tell them you want an end to the madness in Iraq. This was a war that should have never happened. We were supposed to find massive stockpiles of illegal weapons. The only thing that is in Iraq is massive stockpiles of illeagal combatants, our troops. The current administration bars media coverage of the coffins arriving from Iraq so that the people will bw blinded from the TRUTH. More lies from the Bush administration. We deserve to know whats going on, its costing us enough money. Read here. I dare the Bush administration to call these families unpatriotic.
The lies must stop!!! DON'T RE-ELECT BUSH!!!

The Blog is revived. I will provide information to anyone who reads this on why George Bush should NOT get relelected in 2004. This includes my own personal viewpoints and/or articles that i see online that I think are worthy of widespread distribution.
Recently i've read an article on MSN slate explaining how Bush is completely misrepresenting John Kerry's senate voting record. Read the article here. Bush and the people he represents, mainly large corporations and hateful conservatives, are dangerous because they do not want freedom for all. It is strange how the party that once touted a reduction of government has taken more actions than ever to try and restrict the liberties of the people. Whether it be in the name of homeland security or for protection of "our most sacred institution," our liberties must not be curtailed. In his farewell address George Washington asked the nation to "...guard against the impostures of pretend patriotism." George Bush and his administration are false patriots. Its time to show them that THE PEOPLE rule the United States of America!!!

To all you conservative freaks who keep trying to make laws and provisos to prevent homosexuals from being free and active members in society. YOU'RE LOSING YOUR GRIP. The Episcopal dissenters are weak. They couldnt even break away. You're just a bunch of old men who are terrified that your time as the leaders of this nation is OVER and that the younger generation grabbing the reigns is more accepting. Im going to have gay sex on your graves and my gay wedding in your "churches."

George Bush is the purest form of evil that ever existed. He is not my president he does not represent me in any way shape or form. He is not here to protect this nation or the "sanctitity of marriage," all he wants is to lead us to the end of the world so christ will come again and take away his addictions. He's stupid and incompetent. Straight people dont respect marriage anyway so why are they all up in arms about gay people getting married. Straight people cant even stay married, most get divorced so how are they able to say that they know whats best about marriage? The patriot act must not be renewed. We are all being watched. The republicans used to tout that government was getting too big and that big brother is watching. Now they are supporting measures to make government the most invasive it has ever been in years!! DO NOT VOTE FOR BUSH!!!!!!

Quite the relaxing weekend. On Saturday Brad and I had brunch at the house of one of his colleagues. They are both from New York originally and are really fun to talk to. Very easy going people. They live in a part of Dallas that is nearby the residences of some of the richest people in America. We went on a drive in the neighborhood and I saw some of the largest homes I have ever seen in my life. Palaces is the only word to describe them. I cannot imagine where or how these people got the money to build such houses. One even had its own baseball field…ridiculous if you ask me. One highlight was we got to see Mary Kay’s house, its pink and girly. All in all in was a delightful drive. The light was autumnal and if the temperature had been cooler it would have been a perfect November 1.
Sunday we woke up late and I just cleaned the house up while Brad did his usual of playing Sim City 4. We went out to half price books to dump some old magazines, I got $5 for them. Not too bad for taking trash out. Later we went to dinner at Chuys and gorged ourselves on some really good tex-mex. We love that place, the margaritas are really good and its in one of our favorite parts of town. Hopefully this week will go fast and will be relatively painless and we can do this again.
