The B-side events is a place for the grown and sexy! Grown meaning Mature, Intelligent and open to see Art further then the image right in front of your face.
B-side events is here to put "POETRY" & "SOUL" on the South Florida map! Entertained and Inspired by "Quality" talent in the South.FL community, B-side hopes to be a portal to show case this talent. People always assume that South FL. has no soul, well the B-side movement is here to conquer those thoughts. For any other unnecessary thoughts about the soul/poetry scene., poetry lounges are not only about the "snapping fingers". Poetry lounges are meant to educate, bring out your inner sexy and to meet people that seem to be on your level. Being a B-side supporter and follower its easy for me to continue trying to explain this powerful movement. So to get a actual taste, check out one of the B-side tasteful events.
The Soulcial - Club B.E.D Restaurant and Lounge on South Beach. This event gives you a live music experience, which features Local & International artist & DJ's Sunday nights door open at 8PM Music by Jody Hill & Deep Fried Funk
The Monday Night Mixer- Satoro Lounge 2050 Hollywood Blvd. 9pm-1pm Comp Adm. This is a Karaoke night for you to come out have fun and get loose in a classy sexy way!
The Bohemia Room - Vlada Lounge 3215 NE 2ND AVE. Doors open at 8PM. Where some of South Florida's Hottest Poets and Sexiest audience meet! This spot will give you a spoken word experience, which features Local & International Poets. Music by Anomaly.
Flow Fridays - The Literary Cafe (95S to 125ST. head east to NE 9TH Ave on left Across from chase. This is your open mic night open to poets! Doors open at 9PM, showtime 10PM.
