[The Politico]
Politico is reporting that Team Obama is outspending the Hillary Clinton campaign by a ratio of 5-to-1 in Pennsylvania.
As Politico columnist JEANNE CUMMINGS notes in her post this evening, trying to deliver a knock out blow to HRC in the Keystone State is not without its downside.
Our take: If team Obama really thought it was over and that Hillary Clinton had no real chance of securing the nomination at the convention through a floor fight, then why spend $30 million in Pennsylvania, when that money could be put to better use in the general election?
As we see it, Team Obama’s overkill is the most persuasive confirmation there is that HRC is not only still in the game, she just might win this.
Remember Mitt Romney? He tried to buy the nomination too.
