A new poll shows a tight race in Indiana, which could be a crucial showdown between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton if the Democratic nomination race plays out as prognosticators believe. In fact, the poll, conducted Monday through Wednesday, shows Clinton with a 3 point lead.
The poll results are within the margin of error, but earlier polls had Obama leading, so the trend appears of favor Clinton.
Meanwhile, a new Pennsylvania poll out today from the Morning Call in Allentown and Muhlenburg College favors Clinton to win in Pennsylvania by 11 points--49 percent to 38 percent.
It should be noted that, primarily due to the higher percentage of black Democratic voters in North Carolina, Obama leads by double digits there.
