With her soulful voice Mrs. Adele does it again with ADELE 21, which dropped Tuesday February 22 in a store near you. I swear if you close your eyes you would think the artist singing is an older singer from the 60’s or 70’s. Hell you would even automatically think she is black. As we all know most lyrics we women sing are about a few things, being happy felling sad, being independent and of course these damn “Men” On a interview with NPR Music She says that both of her albums — 2008's 19, for which she won Best New Artist at the Grammys, and this one, 21 — are about boys, two different ones. The stories she tells about them are average, familiar, normal. Which are always the best albums to me and it sure does show because ADELE 21 hit No. 1 in the U.K. its first week.
Her first single “Rolling in the Deep” is one of my favorites off the album then it starts to get kind of emotional. You can really hear that she is still in pain from her last break, because each and every song comes off really powerful. “Someone Like You” even at times sound like two personalities are singing the song. The album still has to grow on me, but it is something nice to have in your collections.
