RASMUSSEN AND GALLUP: HILLARY IN VIRTUAL TIE WITH OBAMA NATIONALLY

In a vivid illustration of just how tight the race for the Democratic nomination has become, the Rasmussen Reports Democratic daily tracking poll give Barack Obama a 3 point lead nationally over Hillary Clinton among likely Democratic voters and the Gallup daily tracking poll has the same result.

Both polls are within the margin for error.

These are the only national tracking polls for the Democratic race that have been updated since March 26 when Barack Obama enjoyed a 10 point national lead in some polls.

In other words, it’s a tie folks.
